THE CONTEXT BEHIND YOUR ANSWERS

What has life asked of you together?

It is easier to feel confident about a relationship when life asks relatively little of it. Children, illness, money worries, loss and caring responsibilities can stretch the time and energy available for each other.

Until you have faced pressure together, you cannot fully know how your partnership will respond. Afterwards, you have more experience to draw on... including what you learned about sharing the load, meeting differences and finding each other again.

Consider both what you have faced and how much support and recovery were available. Getting through a difficult period tells part of the story. How you experienced each other within it tells another.

How much pressure are you carrying now?

Think about the demands on your time and energy, alongside the support and recovery available to you.

How much sustained pressure have you faced together?

Think about demanding periods you have experienced as a couple. Years together alone do not tell the whole story.

These answers add context, not points to your relationship scores. They stay on this page and aren’t sent or saved.

When life became difficult, what did you learn about how you face it together?
