Where New Leaders Build Confidence and Competence
Giving New Leaders a step by step bridge to confident leadership
from doer to leader is Too big a leap
Most new Managers face:
- Teams that don't naturally communicate well
- Team members who won't trust, respect you or even resent you
- Challenges getting everyone to work together
- Poor performers who drain your time
- Doubts about whether your own leadership skills
- Lack of time, staff and resources
- Organisational pressures that make you feel squeezed
Every Leader I’ve spoken to talks about the confusion, overwhelm and self doubt at the beginning of their journey.
Most had the technical skills. Many had great strategies. But they just couldn’t get their team to implement as they wanted them to.
Hi, I'm Rob
For the last 30 years I’ve been studying people, relationships, conflict and how we bond together.
I’ve studied Psychology, specialising in happiness. I’ve been a Therapist, Relationship Coach, Mediator and Team Facilitator.
I noticed common patterns that broke relationships.
I realised a great relationship was about becoming a team.
And a great team was made with great relationships.
For the last two years I’ve been sharing my relationship, people and conflict skills with Leaders.
I saw that the gap from Doer to Leader was a massive leap that many didn’t make.
And those that did emerged battered, bruised and often scarred with bad habits.
Become A Unifier Before You Lead
The biggest challenge for new Leaders are people.
- The ones who are awkward.
- The ones who challenge you.
- The ones you can’t get to do what they should be doing.
Until you unify the team as one, they won’t follow your lead.
There’s a sequence of seven skills that breaks down how you can build the trust, respect and authority you need to get people to follow you.
Unifiers Is The Dojo Where New Leaders Become Confident Leaders
Unifiers is the place for new Leaders to develop the people leadership skills that grow their confidence and competence.
It’s a practice ground for them to develop and master their leadership skills in a safe space.
- Get clarity on what it takes to be a great leader
- Get their team communicating
- Build authority with their team
- Create a culture of trust, respect and performance
- Unify their team around a shared goal
- Demand high standards
- Grow themselves and their team
The Seven Skills To Master Leadership
Unifiers work on mastering each skill sequentially.
Once you get people into a dialogue you can build relationships and a culture.
Then you can agree shared purpose, values and standards.
Once you have agreed on those you can hold people accountable to what they have agreed.
Then you can grow your people, processes and performance. Then you can increase your impact.
Master Skills That Matter
Knowledge has it’s place.
But to really make a difference we have to work on developing skills with practice.
Unifiers Dojo is where Leaders put in the reps to get really good.
Here’s how…
Each week there’s a one hour lunchtime workshop where you get to practice to master your skills.
Leadership is lonely and often new managers struggle with problems because they have no-one to talk to.
This 90 minute focused meeting lets you share your biggest challenge. You’ll also learn by supporting your peers through their big challenges.
Every week there’s a two hour window where you can call in with your specific challenges and get instant coaching.
Here’s your chance to get real feedback on your skills and how to improve.
